Why Feed the Children?
Millions of people throughout the world do not have enough food to sustain them, and children are dying every day. In North America alone, we have enough food and resources to feed every child in every nation every day.
Having grown up in a missions-minded family, knowing friends and family who are serving in third-world countries, and having visited starving children in Mexico, Haiti, and Mozambique, how can I not be driven to support the cause of caring for the poor and hungry? In the book of Matthew in the Bible, Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat." (Matthew 25:35), attesting to the fact that if we serve others in His name, we are serving Him. For these reasons, when an art piece sells, for every one dollar, one child is fed for one day through "Feed My Starving Children". Thank you for joining me in saving children's lives! |
